Preconstruction Manager – Remote

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager to lead estimating, factory pricing, and bid management for an international client operating in the U.S. construction market. This remote position offers the chance to apply your expertise in pre‑construction planning while collaborating with sales and purchasing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed cost estimates, budgets, and competitive pricing proposals based on construction documents.
• Perform accurate material takeoffs, analyze supplier quotations, and manage factory pricing processes.
• Identify scope gaps, drawing conflicts, specification ambiguities, and potential project risks.
• Coordinate bid deadlines, RFIs, addenda, and submission requirements to ensure timely delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in preconstruction, estimating, or bid management within the construction industry.
• Proven knowledge of U.S. construction standards, processes, and project workflows.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active bids simultaneously.
• Excellent written communication for client‑facing proposals and documentation.
