About the role
Cargill is seeking a Process Operator I for its Marinados (cutting and packaging) line in Masaya, Nicaragua. This permanent, rotating‑shift position supports the production of high‑quality food ingredients by operating equipment, performing basic maintenance and ensuring smooth workflow on the line.
Key responsibilities
- Transport empty boxes to the production line and move sliced/chopped product boxes to the packaging area.
- Load product into the packing machine and place finished product into cartons.
- Move finished cartons to storage chambers and prepare them for dispatch.
- Execute repetitive, physically demanding tasks while following quality, safety and hygiene standards.
- Use hand tools and manual machines, distribute product to various process stations, and perform basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
- Comply with Cargill’s corporate regulations and any additional duties assigned.
Required profile
- At least 18 years of age.
- Completed primary education or higher.
- Ability to perform physical activities such as bending, climbing stairs, kneeling, squatting and twisting.
Required skills
- Operation of production machinery.
- Basic preventive maintenance.
- Fundamental troubleshooting following established procedures.
