About the role

As a Personal Injury Pre‑Litigation Case Manager you will independently manage assigned personal injury cases through the full pre‑litigation lifecycle, from opening and insurance claim setup through treatment coordination, demand preparation, settlement progression, and closing. This experienced‑hire position offers meaningful autonomy while working within an established legal team.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of cases from post‑intake opening through settlement and closing.
• Open insurance claims, communicate with carriers, and confirm policy limits.
• Coordinate medical treatment and connect clients with appropriate providers.
• Monitor treatment progression and manage cases with awareness of coverage limits.
• Request, gather, track, and review medical records, bills, and supporting documents.
• Identify next steps for each file and keep cases progressing without delays.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients, providers, insurers, and internal team members.
• Prepare demand packages and assist with settlement progression and file closing.

Required profile

• Prior hands‑on U.S. personal injury pre‑litigation case management experience.
• 3+ years managing the full pre‑litigation lifecycle preferred.
• Proven ability to open, work up, progress, settle, and close cases independently.
• Experience opening insurance claims and confirming policy limits.
• Strong knowledge of medical treatment coordination and records handling.

Required skills

• Clio (legal case‑management software) or similar platform.
• Familiarity with other legal case‑management tools.
