Permit Civil Engineer – Remote

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Permit Civil Engineer to lead the permitting process for construction projects. The role is fully remote and requires strong English communication and the ability to interpret technical documents in line with Department of Buildings guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, submit, and track permit applications for residential and commercial projects.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
• Coordinate with municipalities, environmental agencies, and other regulatory bodies.
• Conduct site assessments and review engineering plans for permit requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to resolve permitting issues.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of zoning laws, environmental impact regulations, and land‑use policies.

Required profile

• Advanced English proficiency.
• Professional attitude with solid written and verbal communication.
• Proactive, multitasking, analytical, and highly organized.
• Experience in engineering projects (residential and commercial) and familiarity with US DOB regulations.
• Ability to identify risks, prioritize tasks, and follow through to completion.
