Permit Civil Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Permit Civil Engineer to lead the permitting process for construction projects. The role ensures regulatory compliance, coordinates with local authorities, and streamlines approvals to keep projects on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, submit, and track permit applications for residential and commercial projects.
• Verify compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and Department of Buildings (DOB) guidelines.
• Collaborate with municipalities, environmental agencies, and other regulatory bodies.
• Conduct site assessments and review engineering plans for permit requirements.
• Work closely with project managers, architects, and contractors to resolve permitting issues.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of zoning laws, environmental regulations, and land‑use policies.

Required profile

• Advanced English proficiency for interpreting technical documents.
• Professional attitude with strong written and verbal communication.
• Proactive, able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and reliable follow‑through.
