About the role

The Production Operator will work in Cargill’s food manufacturing plant in Masaya, Nicaragua. This permanent position involves rotating shifts and supports the production of a wide range of food ingredients and products. The role focuses on operating equipment, handling materials, and ensuring safe, efficient production processes.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload bulk materials, package products and operate terminal equipment.
• Perform mixing operations and monitor computerized control systems.
• Make basic machine adjustments and conduct preventive maintenance.
• Record production and inventory data in the plant’s information systems.
• Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, mini‑loaders, floor sweepers and front loaders.
• Follow all safety policies, maintain a clean work environment and monitor work pace.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned to meet production targets.

Required profile

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions and safety guidelines.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts.

Required skills
