About the role

Cargill is seeking a Quality Monitor to support food safety and quality assurance in its poultry division. The role involves documenting test processes, analyzing data, and helping transfer knowledge across the team.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect finished chicken products and raw materials to identify defect trends and support complex testing under supervision.
• Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to new team members.
• Review HACCP documentation and other food safety/quality records.
• Assist in audits and shelf‑life projects by conducting tests, preparing reports, and summarising results.
• Manage customer complaints, ensuring corrective actions and preventive measures are implemented.
• Handle moderately complex administrative, technical, or customer‑service issues, escalating higher‑complexity problems as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High‑school diploma or equivalent.
• At least two years of relevant experience in a food‑processing plant.
• Knowledge of HACCP principles (preferred).
• Familiarity with poultry production processes.
• Strong written communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to make decisions in quality‑related processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially intermediate‑advanced Excel (calculations, pivot tables, formulas).
• Excellent time‑management and organisational skills.
