IT Field Support Supervisor

About the role

The IT Field Support Supervisor leads a team of site support technicians, delivering complex technical services for servers, applications, databases and overall site infrastructure. This role ensures system availability, security, and performance while coordinating with corporate IT groups.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise IT Site Support Technicians, assigning work, managing performance and handling employee relations.
• Provide advanced systems administration, including installation, configuration and maintenance of enterprise software, servers, databases and network operating systems.
• Serve as point‑of‑contact for system‑wide upgrades, server OS conversions and performance troubleshooting.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans, backup schedules and document management systems.
• Oversee hardware installations, relocations, preventative maintenance of desktops, laptops and related software.
• Manage generator maintenance, phone system issues and on‑site hardware rollouts.
• Document procedures, produce status reports and support after‑hours/on‑call availability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of end‑user PC operating system and enterprise software experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage projects.
