Insurance Manager

About the role

Connect International, a BPO partner with more than 20 years of experience in nearshore and offshore staffing, is hiring a full-time, on-site Insurance Manager in Managua, Nicaragua. The role oversees day-to-day insurance operations, including policy administration, coverage review and compliance with internal procedures and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of insurance professionals
• Monitor performance metrics
• Implement process improvements to improve efficiency and service quality
• Contribute to training initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
• Ensure service standards and regulatory guidelines are consistently met

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Ability to work on-site in Managua, Nicaragua, and collaborate across departments in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in BPO, contact center or medical services environments is preferred

Required skills

• Team management, including performance oversight, coaching and staff development
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accurate documentation
• Effective written and verbal communication in English and Spanish
