About the role

The Supply Manager will lead the procurement strategy for a leading sugar producer in Central America. You will be responsible for negotiating with key suppliers, ensuring uninterrupted supply, optimizing costs and delivering sustainable savings.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Negotiate contracts, RFQs, RFPs, tenders and multi‑round negotiations.
• Maintain supplier relationships and manage SLAs.
• Perform category management, spend analysis and cost benchmarking.
• Generate regular reports using Excel, Power BI and SAP.
• Drive process automation through macros and VBA.

Required profile

• Graduate in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in strategic sourcing, purchasing or procurement, preferably in agro‑industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency with Excel (intermediate/advanced), Power BI and SAP.
• Experience with e‑sourcing/e‑auction platforms and automation tools.
• Strong knowledge of RFQ/RFP processes, category management and spend analysis.
