Finance Lead

About the role

A growing experiential marketing and event staffing company is looking for a Finance Lead to own its financial operations and become a key member of the leadership team. This role blends day‑to‑day accounting with strategic analysis of pricing, profitability, cash flow, budgeting and process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and clear, timely visibility into overall financial performance for senior management.
• Analyze revenue, expenses, cash flow and operational costs; prepare recurring financial reports and insights.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning; identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Review client RFPs, develop accurate project estimates, calculate staffing and travel costs, and build pricing that protects margins.
• Track estimates through project completion, compare against actual expenses and report profitability by project.
• Prepare and manage client invoices, reconcile final project hours and expenses, and monitor payment terms and outstanding balances.

Required profile

• Strong accounting fundamentals combined with an analytical mindset.
• Experience in fast‑paced, project‑based environments with variable staffing costs.
• Ability to communicate financial insights and recommendations to leadership.
• Comfortable evaluating multiple variables for pricing rather than using fixed structures.
