About the role

We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Planning Specialist to join our team and help shape the evolution of our technology landscape. You will ensure that our physical, virtual and cloud environments are efficient, scalable, secure and aligned with business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage capacity growth for on‑premise, virtual and cloud infrastructure.
• Design technical architectures for servers, storage, networking and cloud services.
• Assess impact of new projects on existing infrastructure and participate in implementation, migration and modernization initiatives.
• Operate hybrid environments (on‑premise + cloud) and drive right‑sizing optimizations.
• Monitor capacity, utilization and performance indicators to anticipate growth requirements.
• Administer servers, operating systems, storage, backups and virtualization platforms.
• Contribute to private‑cloud and IaaS solution planning.
• Support business continuity and disaster‑recovery strategies.
• Manage the infrastructure lifecycle, including renewals, upgrades and obsolescence.
• Identify security gaps and enforce hardening best practices.
• Produce technical documentation, diagrams, standards and infrastructure plans.
• Research emerging technologies and evaluate feasibility.
• Coordinate with development, operations, security teams and vendors.
• Prepare executive reports on project status, risks and key metrics.

Required profile

• Degree in Telecommunications, Systems, Computer Engineering, Electronics or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, OpenStack).
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V, Xen, OpenStack).

Required skills

• Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform, Ansible.
• Scripting/programming: Python, Bash, PowerShell, APIs.
• Container orchestration: Kubernetes.
• Operating system administration: Windows, Linux, Solaris.
