About the role

The Generalist Process Operator Lead will support production goals at Cargill’s Agriculture and Trade unit in Masaya. The role involves operating and maintaining a variety of mechanical equipment, leading troubleshooting efforts, and ensuring safe, efficient plant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform assigned lead activities across the production facility.
• Operate mechanical machinery and mobile powered equipment such as forklifts, skid loaders, floor sweepers, and front‑end loaders.
• Provide guidance and training to teammates on operating procedures and documentation.
• Lead maintenance and troubleshooting activities, making adjustments or directing others as needed.
• Record production and inventory data in computerized systems.
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies and maintain a clean work environment.
• Execute other duties as assigned to support throughput and product quality.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lead and support colleagues in equipment operation and troubleshooting.
• Strong awareness of safety regulations and commitment to a safe workplace.
• Other minimum qualifications may apply.
