About the role

We are seeking a motivated professional to support the Knowledge Management and Social Infrastructure Group (GIS) of the Inter‑American Development Bank. The role involves assisting the full editorial and dissemination cycle of knowledge products that underpin the bank’s social infrastructure projects across education, health, social protection and other sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, edit, quality‑check and publish technical documents, guides, studies, blogs and other specialized materials.
• Manage editorial workflows in the bank’s institutional platforms (e.g., Convergence) and coordinate with consultants, authors, reviewers, designers and translators.
• Coordinate with INE and Bank communications teams to plan and implement diffusion strategies for publications, events and trainings.
• Produce communication assets such as news items, social‑media messages, presentations, graphics, videos and other digital content.
• Maintain and update GIS digital assets, including intranet sites, digital catalogues, databases, indicators and dashboards.
• Monitor, analyse and report on indicators related to knowledge‑product production, dissemination and usage.
• Provide operational support for reports, events, training activities and internal processes linked to knowledge management and technical cooperation.

Required profile

• Proactive professional with excellent oral and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
• Experience in coordinating editorial processes and producing communication materials.
• Familiarity with knowledge‑management concepts and social‑infrastructure contexts.

Required skills

• Editorial and publishing tools (e.g., content management systems).
• Digital asset management and basic data visualization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
