Construction Estimator – Framing (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Construction Estimator specialized in framing to join our pre‑construction team. You will analyse architectural and structural drawings, produce accurate material take‑offs and competitive cost estimates for both steel and wood framing packages, directly influencing project profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse architectural and structural blueprints to generate material take‑offs and cost estimates for light‑gauge/structural steel and wood framing.
• Prepare drawings from supplied plans and sketches and perform component‑based take‑offs from shop drawings.
• Manage day‑to‑day workflow of the estimating department, prioritising and assigning projects.
• Calculate project time and budget estimates based on required materials and resources, maintaining a system for recurring projects.
• Ensure completed estimates align with customer and project requirements and perform any other related duties.

Required profile

• Strong engineering or architectural background with at least 2 years of construction estimating experience, specifically in wood and steel framing.
• Advanced English proficiency (upper‑intermediate to proficient).
• Ability to draft, layout and perform straightforward calculations, budgets and take‑offs.
