Clinical Coordinator - Remote (Spanish-speaking)

About the role

A full-time remote Clinical Coordinator position requiring fluent English and Spanish, working 9 AM to 6 PM EST, Monday to Friday. Training will be provided. The role covers reviewing clinical orders, handling patient requests and coordinating authorizations and follow-ups.

Key responsibilities

• Manage laboratory orders and reports, and review encounter notes and post-visit clinical orders
• Handle requests for DME, labs, imaging, referrals and medications, and review DME prescriptions for accuracy and completeness
• Obtain prior authorizations for medications, DME and enteral orders
• Complete DOH MAS 2015 forms and supporting documentation
• Monitor critical clinical alerts and escalate abnormal findings promptly
• Follow up on outstanding orders, referrals, authorizations, PT actions and clinical needs
• Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate medication refill issues with providers
• Track DME supply orders and resolve delays or missing items

Required profile

• Fluent English and Spanish
• Healthcare or clinical experience required
• Experience with DME, referrals, laboratory orders or prior authorizations preferred
• Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems preferred
