Bookkeeper – Construction AIA Billing & QuickBooks Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Bookkeeper with solid experience in commercial construction accounting, specifically AIA billing, to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will manage the full cycle of payments, invoicing, and financial record‑keeping while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and review data for financial reports.
• Manage invoices and vendor bills, ensuring accurate entry into QuickBooks.
• Prepare and process payments, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Perform reconciliations and suggest process improvements for accuracy, efficiency, and cost reduction.
• Maintain compliance with data‑privacy standards and internal controls.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and construction AIA billing (G702, G703).
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Professionalism, integrity, and excellent mathematical ability.
• Experience in commercial construction environments.
• Ability to work proactively, analytically, and collaboratively.

Required skills

• QuickBooks (including QuickBooks Projects).
• AIA software such as Werx, Knowify, or CAPS.
• Familiarity with G702 and G703 billing forms.
• Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Gmail).
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Hubstaff (web and desktop apps).
• Zoom for meetings and breakout rooms.
