About the role

The Sales Assistant II supports the transportation and delivery of goods, materials and products across the country, ensuring timely and accurate shipments to customers and plant locations. Working closely with drivers, the assistant handles loading, unloading, documentation and inventory tasks while adhering to safety and food‑handling standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist drivers in loading and unloading complex merchandise, materials and equipment according to scheduled routes.
• Verify that all required delivery documentation is complete and up‑to‑date after each shipment.
• Conduct truck load reviews, count initial product quantities, and manage product returns.
• Handle products safely, move items from the truck to cold storage following the manifest, and operate weighing scales.
• Weigh, count and record products during inventory closures and ensure accurate stock levels.
• Direct delivery personnel when necessary and safeguard delivery scales.
• Participate in required training sessions and comply with food‑safety procedures.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old with primary education completed.
• Ability to read and write Spanish fluently.
• Physical capability to lift up to 25 kg, bend, climb stairs, kneel and work in cold environments (down to –10 °C).
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays or varying shifts with prior notice.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Preferably a minimum of one year experience in a sales or delivery environment.
