About the role

The Distribution Assistant is responsible for receiving, storing, and dispatching customer orders, ensuring timely and quality service. The role supports both local deliveries within Managua and shipments to external zones, handling documentation, routing, and return processes.

Key responsibilities

• Verify physical condition of orders against pick lists before dispatch.
• Store orders in designated zones to maintain logical routing.
• Prepare and issue dispatch documents, assigning deliveries to drivers or motorized couriers based on load volume.
• Communicate delivery priorities and schedules to drivers for efficient route planning.
• Prepare packages for external zone shipments, assign department and route codes in the shipping platform, and generate remission guides.
• Coordinate with external transport providers for sealed parcel deliveries and track weekly receipt acknowledgments.
• Process product returns following established procedures, inspect returned items, store them appropriately, and report daily return volumes.
• Adhere to occupational safety, good storage and distribution practices, pharmacovigilance requirements, and company codes of conduct.
