Auditor Interno Senior

About the role

The Senior Internal Auditor will plan, execute and supervise internal audit programs across Grupo Q’s automotive operations in Central America. The role ensures that audit activities follow the annual work plan, comply with corporate policies and international standards, and add value to the business.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and carry out audit evaluations in line with the annual audit plan.
• Supervise audit programs assigned to Senior Auditors, ensuring adherence to policies and guidelines.
• Develop activity schedules for each audit assignment.
• Provide information and support to the Corporate Director of Internal Audit.
• Verify workpapers and documentation prepared by Senior Auditors for technical compliance.
• Analyze audit results and present findings to area managers.
• Prepare technical audit reports to strengthen internal control structures.
• Ensure audit findings are documented with sufficient evidence.
• Monitor field work to confirm achievement of predefined objectives.
• Recommend updates to audit strategies, programs and procedures as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in internal or external audit.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Basic proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with the audit software Teammate.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
