Associate Field Service Technician

About the role

The Associate Field Service Technician provides on‑site installation, debugging, and maintenance of hardware and software products for customers. Working within an assigned territory, you will ensure equipment operates correctly and deliver a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test hardware and software components at customer locations.
• Perform diagnostic testing, troubleshoot failures, and execute hardware repairs at the component level.
• Clean, adjust, and maintain mechanical parts, and refill consumables as required.
• Carry out preventive maintenance checks following documented procedures.
• Provide IMAC/R services – install, move, add, change, or remove equipment.
• Train customers on product operation and usage, ensuring they understand functionality.
• Complete service paperwork, schedule follow‑up visits, and escalate issues according to company procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in field service or a related technical role.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license meeting company fleet requirements.
• Ability to work independently within a defined territory.

Required skills

• Proficiency with diagnostic tools for hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Experience in hardware repair and component‑level servicing.
• Capability to install and configure software applications.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures and consumable management.
