About the role

Join Avianca as a Point‑of‑Sale Agent in Nicaragua, where you will be the first point of contact for customers purchasing tickets, handling travel inquiries, and acquiring ancillary services. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, delivering a friendly and reliable experience while contributing to the airline’s commercial goals.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell Avianca’s product and service portfolio according to established conditions.
• Assist customers at the sales point with ticket purchases, travel documentation, and information requests.
• Collect payments, reconcile daily sales, and close sales reports.
• Register and follow up on client requests such as refunds, loyalty program issues, and ancillary services.
• Ensure compliance with operational safety, industrial safety, health, quality and environmental policies.
• Upsell complementary services, e.g., extra baggage and other travel add‑ons.

Required profile

• University graduate or current university student.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in sales and customer service, preferably in a face‑to‑face setting.
• Ability to meet commercial targets and work under pressure.
• English proficiency at least B1 (B2 preferred).
• Availability to work the schedules defined by operations.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of the Amadeus reservation system.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
