Technical Sales Representative

About the role

The Technical Sales Representative will drive sales growth within an assigned territory by managing the sales budget, meeting margin targets, and providing technical product demonstrations to farmers and other customers. The role combines field‑based demand generation, customer service, and close collaboration with the collections team to ensure smooth onboarding and payment processes.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve the territory’s sales budget and margin targets while supporting overall market share goals.
• Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical support to farmers and field customers.
• Develop and execute demand‑generation initiatives such as field days, presentations, and training sessions for distributors and customers.
• Implement marketing strategies across the full product portfolio, leveraging product knowledge and competitor insights.
• Support the collections department with guarantee documentation and monitor customer status to streamline onboarding.
• Collect payments from the client portfolio in coordination with the Collections Department.
• Create and review accurate sales forecasts at least monthly to ensure efficient supply.
• Maintain a professional image that aligns with the corporate brand identity.

Required profile

• Proven ability to achieve sales budgets and margin targets.
• Experience working directly with farmers and field customers.
• Strong customer‑service orientation.
• Capability to develop and execute demand‑generation initiatives such as field days and training sessions.
• Ability to maintain a professional image consistent with corporate branding.
• Understanding of market analysis, forecasting, and supply management.
