Talent Screener (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Talent Screener to join our remote hiring team. You will be the first point of contact for candidates, ensuring they meet the defined knockout criteria before moving forward in the interview process.

Key responsibilities

• Review every candidate handed off by the Talent Sourcer and advance qualified applicants to a screening interview without additional approval.
• Screen applicants from non‑sourced channels within three days, recording outcomes in the ATS.
• Conduct live video screening interviews using the approved guide and scorecard, assessing qualifications, work authorization, location, relocation feasibility, and compensation expectations.
• Escalate ambiguous or borderline profiles to the assigned Recruiter and report recurring quality issues to the Talent Acquisition Manager.
• Maintain consistent question sets, accurate disposition codes, and data hygiene in the applicant tracking system.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured interview guides.
• Excellent verbal communication skills, able to adapt tone and vocabulary to diverse candidate backgrounds.
• Ability to make quick, data‑driven decisions while adhering to compliance guidelines.
• Experience working with applicant tracking systems and remote interview tools.

Required skills

• Proficiency with video conferencing platforms for live interviews.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking system (ATS) data entry and reporting.
