About the role

The Pharmacy Channel Sales Supervisor is responsible for maximizing profitability and sales volume within the assigned territory. The role involves leading, training, and accompanying the commercial team in the field, ensuring optimal visit routes, portfolio coverage, and proper execution of trade‑marketing activities at independent pharmacies, chains, and wholesalers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a local sales plan focused on the pharmacy channel, aligned with commercial objectives and portfolio coverage strategy.
• Measure and control key KPIs such as coverage percentage, sales effectiveness, and portfolio health.
• Provide continuous field accompaniment to the commercial team to assess service quality and route efficiency.
• Analyze sales reports to identify trends, deviations, and growth opportunities.
• Create and implement benchmarking standards against competing pharmaceutical brands.
• Ensure monthly field visits of supervised personnel.
• Maintain positioning and rotation of key portfolio brands.
• Keep the pharmacy client portfolio clean, up‑to‑date, and healthy.
• Report visibility, communication, and sales opportunities detected at points of sale to immediate management.

Required profile

• University degree; postgraduate studies are a plus.
• Bilingual English is desirable.
• Experience in pharmaceutical product distribution channels.
• Strong network and relationships with key contacts in pharmacy chains.
• Minimum four years in similar roles, including personnel supervision, sales, and trade‑marketing.
• Result‑oriented with excellent execution and follow‑up skills.

• Strong interpersonal abilities to interact with all organizational levels.
• Analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with distributors and sub‑distributors.
