Soporte Técnico POS

About the role

Banco LAFISE is looking for a Technical POS Support professional to cover the Masaya area. The role ensures the availability, programming and optimal operation of the bank’s network of payment terminals for Visa and Mastercard transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Install, program, maintain and troubleshoot physical POS terminals at affiliated merchants.
• Prepare and configure equipment for new merchant onboarding and re‑program terminals for new products such as loyalty points, installment plans and Open POS.
• Train merchants and internal staff (acquiring and branch teams) on the use of various POS models.
• Perform preventive maintenance, replenish consumables (paper rolls, SIM cards, cables) and manage advertising labeling at merchant sites.
• Control POS inventory and coordinate repair or disposal of damaged units with the business area.

Required profile

• Student or graduate in Systems Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Own vehicle (required) and residence in Masaya or surrounding areas.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar technical support role.

Required skills

• Preventive maintenance of software and hardware.
• Knowledge of Ethernet networking and UTP CAT5E cabling.
• SQL database queries using SQL Management Studio.
• Administration and configuration of websites.
