Senior Java Tech Lead - Remote Work

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Java Tech Lead to drive the architecture and development of a reactive, event-driven platform. The role combines hands-on coding with technical leadership, mentoring engineers and collaborating with product stakeholders to turn ambiguous requirements into deliverable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own service architecture and API contracts for a reactive, event-driven platform.
• Enforce Domain-Driven Design principles across the engineering team.
• Integrate frontend applications with Spring Reactive microservices streaming through Kafka.
• Set engineering standards for testing, code reviews, observability, and security.
• Guide deployment and release practices, including CI/CD in cloud and Kubernetes environments.
• Mentor engineers and partner with product stakeholders to shape requirements into deliverable work.

Required profile

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot and Spring Reactive.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka or a comparable messaging platform.
• Experience with Angular 18 and TypeScript.
• Solid background in Domain-Driven Design.
• Experience with microservices and cloud-native architecture.
• Upper-intermediate English proficiency for cross-team leadership and customer-facing discussions.
