Remote AppFolio & QuickBooks Accounting Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accounting RTM to manage day‑to‑day accounting operations remotely. The specialist will use QuickBooks Online and AppFolio to keep financial records accurate, organized, and up to date.

Key responsibilities

• Manage invoicing, accounts payable, and general accounting tasks.
• Process, organize, and track invoices and payments.
• Reconcile bank and account statements and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online and AppFolio.
• Monitor accounting transactions for accuracy and proper documentation.
• Assist with financial reporting and account management.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies promptly.
• Support additional accounting and administrative tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and AppFolio.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Previous experience with invoicing, accounts payable, and account reconciliation.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Effective communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Commitment to confidentiality when handling financial information.

What we offer

• Compensation: $12–$14 USD per hour.
• Full‑time schedule: 40 hours per week.
