About the role

As a Sales Promoter for Claro Nicaragua, you will be the face of the company in retail locations, promoting and selling telephone, internet and data services to customers. This full‑time, on‑site position is based in León and focuses on delivering a high‑quality customer experience while meeting sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell Claro’s fixed‑line, mobile, internet and data products to walk‑in customers.
• Explain product features clearly, answer questions, and guide customers through plan upgrades, renewals and changes.
• Assist with the activation process and ensure accurate completion of sales documentation.
• Maintain the sales area, arrange promotional materials, and keep the point‑of‑sale tidy.
• Track personal sales performance against commercial objectives.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer‑focused attitude.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve customer needs and provide a positive user experience.
• Basic sales competencies such as negotiation, closing deals and result orientation.
• Previous retail experience and basic knowledge of point‑of‑sale marketing are highly valued.
• Minimum education: secondary school; additional training in commerce, marketing or telecommunications is a plus.
• Team player, proactive, responsible and available for rotating schedules.
