HVAC Drafter – 2D/3D Shop Drawings & Coordination

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HVAC Drafter to translate engineering concepts into accurate 2D and 3D shop drawings. You will collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and construction teams to ensure HVAC systems are correctly integrated within building projects and comply with all relevant codes.

Key responsibilities

• Create 2D and 3D shop drawings, coordination layouts, and fabrication plans for ductwork, piping, and equipment.
• Coordinate HVAC layouts with architectural, electrical, and plumbing plans to avoid clashes.
• Update drawings based on field changes, site checks, and engineer notes.
• Prepare material lists, equipment schedules, and final as‑built drawings.
• Verify that designs follow local building codes and industry standards such as ASHRAE.

Required profile

• Associate degree, technical certificate, or diploma in drafting, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of hands‑on mechanical drafting or HVAC design experience.
• Upper‑intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• Strong attention to detail, clear communication, and ability to work in a team environment.
