Gerente Senior de Operaciones

About the role

World Vision is seeking a senior leader to drive the implementation of its operations model in Nicaragua. The role focuses on aligning local activities with global strategy, strengthening partnerships, and ensuring the organization remains a preferred humanitarian partner in Central America.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the World Vision operations delivery model based on cost‑effectiveness and strategic guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with sponsorship standards set by the organization.
• Lead and manage relationships with national, regional, and global partners, donors, and support offices.
• Promote sustainability actions and demonstrate measurable impact.
• Oversee program and project cycles, ensuring results orientation and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Humanities or Social Sciences.
• Master’s degree in Social Project Management, Local Development Management, Program & Project Management, Social Policies, Human Rights or Children’s Rights.
• Minimum five years of experience in similar senior operations roles.
• Five years of experience preparing proposals for development agencies.
• Five years of experience in emergency response, business continuity planning and crisis management.

• Ability to influence decision‑making and build effective relationships.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office on Windows platforms.
