Financial Assistant – Accounts Receivable

About the role

We are expanding our finance team and need a motivated Financial Assistant to manage daily Accounts Receivable workflows and keep our ledger records accurate. The role involves direct client billing, payment tracking, and phone communication with US‑based accounts while providing exposure to broader corporate finance functions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end Accounts Receivable tasks, including issuing invoices, logging incoming payments, and resolving account discrepancies.
• Speak directly with US clients over the phone to review account status, follow up on balances, and coordinate payment schedules.
• Maintain accurate ledger entries, update financial transactions, and perform routine reconciliations using QuickBooks Online.
• Assist in compiling weekly and monthly AR aging reports for management review.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or general accounting roles.
• C2‑level English fluency with clear, professional spoken communication.
• Reliable on‑site attendance in Managua during standard working hours.

Required skills

• Practical experience navigating QuickBooks Online (QBO) or similar cloud accounting software.
