Construction Estimator – Framing

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Construction Estimator specialized in framing to join our pre‑construction team. You will translate architectural and structural blueprints into accurate material take‑offs and competitive cost estimates for both light‑gauge/structural steel and wood framing packages.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze architectural and structural drawings to produce precise material take‑offs.
• Generate cost estimates and strategic bids for steel and wood framing projects.
• Prepare and revise shop drawings, layouts, and component‑based take‑offs.
• Manage daily workflow of the estimating department, prioritize projects, and assign tasks.
• Calculate project time and budget estimates, ensuring alignment with client requirements.
• Maintain documentation and reporting tools for recurring or standard projects.

Required profile

• Strong engineering or architectural background with at least 2 years of construction estimating experience.
• Advanced English proficiency (upper‑intermediate to proficient).
• Hands‑on knowledge of wood and steel framing systems.
• Ability to draft, layout, and perform straightforward calculations.
• Professional attitude, solid communication skills, and strong organizational abilities.
