Bilingual Medical Scheduler & Administrative Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an organized, dependable Bilingual Medical Virtual Assistant to support our digestive health team. The role is fully remote and focuses on end‑to‑end procedure scheduling, patient preparation, and clinical coordination across multiple care settings.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize the procedure and clinic schedule to maximize provider availability and facility capacity.
• Coordinate pre‑procedure requirements, medical clearances, and provide patients with detailed preparation instructions.
• Manage patient check‑out workflows, gather outside records, process referrals, and handle laboratory and imaging orders.
• Complete prior authorizations with insurers and communicate with patients, providers, hospitals, surgery centers, pharmacies, and external offices.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience as a Virtual Medical Assistant or Administrative Assistant in a U.S. specialty practice.
• Proven success coordinating complex procedures from booking through completion.
• Full bilingual fluency in English and Spanish with professional verbal and written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

What we offer

• Full‑time contractor position (40 hours/week) with a starting rate of $6 per hour, dependent on experience.
• Consistent Monday‑Friday schedule, 9‑5 PST.
