Bilingual Medical Insurance & Administrative Specialist – Orthopedics

About the role

We are looking for an energetic, bilingual professional to join our fast‑paced orthopedics practice as an Insurance and Administrative Specialist. The role blends high‑volume phone outreach, insurance verification, prior‑authorization handling, and eClinicalWorks scheduling to ensure smooth patient intake and practice growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a large daily volume of inbound and outbound calls, converting inquiries into scheduled appointments.
• Perform full‑cycle insurance verification, explain patient financial responsibility, and document findings.
• Secure prior authorizations for commercial plans (HMO/PPO, Aetna, Cigna, Humana) and personal‑injury cases (PIP/Workers’ Comp).
• Utilize eClinicalWorks to manage calendars, schedule appointments, and maintain accurate follow‑up documentation.
• Build rapport with patients, attorneys, and referring physicians to support practice growth.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of hands‑on experience with eClinicalWorks.
• Background in orthopedics, neurology, or pain medicine.
• Proven ability to handle high‑volume medical calls in a metrics‑driven environment.
• Strong organizational skills and self‑motivation with performance‑based accountability.

Required skills

• eClinicalWorks (eCW) proficiency.

What we offer

• Full‑time contractor position (40 hours/week) with a starting rate of $6 per hour, based on experience.
• Monday‑Friday schedule aligned with the Eastern Time Zone.
