Bilingual Front Desk & Insurance Specialist – Cardiology

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate, bilingual Virtual Assistant to support a high‑volume cardiology practice during EST business hours. The role combines front‑desk duties, insurance verification, and patient communication, requiring both technical proficiency in eClinicalWorks and strong English‑Spanish phone skills.

Key responsibilities

• Manage high‑volume inbound calls, route them appropriately, and address patient requests with empathy.
• Communicate lab and test results to patients using TigerConnect for secure messaging.
• Schedule urgent and routine appointments in eClinicalWorks (eCW).
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and coverage before appointments, completing the full verification cycle.
• Provide general front‑desk administrative support within eCW.

Required profile

• Native or fully fluent in spoken and written English and Spanish.
• At least one year of hands‑on experience with eClinicalWorks in a U.S. cardiology setting.
• Demonstrated patience, empathy, and professional integrity.
• Availability to work full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM‑5:00 PM EST.

What we offer
