About the role

The Judicial Collection Lawyer will manage and follow up on assigned cases to recover overdue amounts for clients, contributing to the overall recovery of outstanding balances in the northern region.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and monitor judicial collection cases from initiation to resolution.
• Apply civil law knowledge and the new Civil Procedure Code (CPCN) to pursue claims.
• Negotiate settlements and mediate disputes to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Coordinate with clients and relevant authorities across Matagalpa, Jinotega, and Estelí.
• Travel within the northern zone as required.

Required profile

• Law degree (Licenciado en Derecho) and Notary Public title.
• Minimum three years of experience in legal collection or related positions.
• Strong understanding of civil law and the new CPCN.
• Residence in or willingness to work in Matagalpa, Jinotega, or Estelí.
• Own vehicle and valid driver’s license.
