Inspector(a) de Ergonomia - Masaya

About the role

The Ergonomics Inspector will work on Cargill's food division plant in Masaya, Nicaragua. This permanent, onsite position focuses on monitoring ergonomic conditions, delivering safety training, investigating incidents, and supporting overall plant safety and productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and assist with safety training in line with Cargill requirements and OSHA standards, tracking completion for all participants.
• Conduct workplace ergonomic analyses, both pre‑ and post‑implementation, to identify and reduce risk factors.
• Investigate safety incidents, determine root causes, and follow up on corrective actions until closure.
• Monitor key safety indicators, analyze trends, and propose actions for the annual EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) plan.
• Ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.
• Validate Job Task Analyses (JTA) across all operational areas.
• Perform any other duties assigned by plant management.

Required profile

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Completed secondary education or higher.
• Physical ability to bend, climb stairs, kneel, squat and twist safely, with or without assistance.

Required skills

• Ergonomic analysis techniques.
