Soporte Técnico POS

About the role

Banco LAFISE is seeking a POS Technical Support professional to join its Acquiring team. The role focuses on installing, configuring, and maintaining point‑of‑sale terminals to ensure smooth Visa and MasterCard transaction processing.

Key responsibilities

• Install, repair, and perform preventive/corrective maintenance on POS terminals at affiliated merchants.
• Prepare, program, and update applications on physical POS devices, including functions such as points, installments, and Open POS.
• Train merchants and internal staff on proper use of POS models.
• Generate transaction logs to troubleshoot failures, settlements, or closures.
• Maintain inventory control of POS units, supplies (rolls, advertising, accessories) and equipment pending installation.

Required profile

• Student or Engineer in Systems, Computing, or Computer Science.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar technical support role.
• Knowledge of hardware, software, Ethernet networks, SQL/SQL Management Studio, preventive maintenance and website administration.
• Own vehicle required for field support travel.
