Senior Sales Representative

About the role

We are looking for a results‑driven Senior Sales Representative to join our fast‑growing AI‑powered commodities marketplace focused on steel trading. The role involves generating new business, managing client relationships and facilitating cross‑border transactions across Latin America and global markets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and develop new opportunities in the steel and industrial sectors, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to post‑sale support.
• Expand the customer base by engaging distributors, manufacturers, processors and industrial buyers, and increase marketplace participation through strategic initiatives.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with buyers, suppliers and stakeholders, providing market insights and procurement guidance.
• Coordinate international transactions, assisting customers with sourcing, pricing, logistics and market intelligence.
• Collaborate with Operations, Logistics, Finance, Compliance and Customer Success teams to ensure smooth execution and provide market feedback.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, track KPIs, prepare forecasts and use data analytics to support decision‑making.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably within the steel industry.
• Proven success managing the complete sales cycle and strong negotiation, communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Professional working proficiency in English and ability to travel within the assigned territory.
• Stable employment history and a network of steel suppliers, distributors or buyers is a plus.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
