Senior AI Engineer – Node.js & Python (Remote)

About the role

BairesDev® is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design, develop, and scale production‑grade artificial intelligence systems using both Node.js and Python. The role focuses on integrating advanced language models and building reliable, enterprise‑ready AI applications that run in the cloud.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust backend architectures and APIs for complex AI workflows.
• Integrate large language models (LLMs) and create efficient retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) or agentic systems.
• Build and optimise data pipelines and orchestration flows to ensure high‑performance model execution.
• Apply production‑level MLOps practices, including model evaluation, monitoring, and observability.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate product requirements into scalable, secure cloud‑deployed AI solutions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, AI engineering, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in Node.js and Python for building production‑grade AI systems.
• Strong experience integrating LLMs, Generative AI APIs, and implementing RAG or agentic workflows.
• Solid understanding of API development, MLOps practices, and cloud deployment.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
