IT Manager – Multi‑Site Corporate Group

About the role

We are a growing multi‑site corporate group seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead technology operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and strategic initiatives across several business units. The role combines hands‑on technical work with strategic planning and people leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an IT strategy aligned with business goals.
• Manage IT budgets, resource allocation, and technology investments.
• Lead, mentor and evaluate a team of IT professionals.
• Oversee installation, configuration, maintenance and optimisation of hardware, software, network and cloud systems.
• Administer Ubiquiti UniFi infrastructure – gateways, switches, APs, controllers, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls and QoS.
• Monitor network performance, wireless coverage and bandwidth utilisation.
• Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams and firmware lifecycle.
• Lead cybersecurity programmes, audits, penetration testing and user awareness.
• Develop and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Manage patching, asset inventory and vendor relationships.
• Drive IT projects to deliver on time, within budget and meeting objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years progressive IT experience, including at least 3 years in an IT Manager or similar leadership role.
• At least 3 years hands‑on experience with Ubiquiti UniFi environments.
• Proven experience supporting multi‑site corporate networks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field (MBA or Master’s preferred).
• Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Fortinet FCA/NSE, Microsoft certifications.
