About the role

We are looking for a proactive and analytical Application Support Engineer to join our team. The role focuses on providing high‑quality support for corporate applications, especially those running on Oracle, and ensuring a positive experience for end users.

Key responsibilities

• Handle and resolve incidents and requests through the help‑desk system.
• Provide support for Oracle‑based corporate applications, performing basic queries, validating data, and analyzing errors.
• Install, configure, and update applications, drivers, and related tools.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Manage user access and accounts, including creation, permission changes, and credential resets.
• Document incidents, causes, evidence, and solutions while maintaining clear communication with users.
• Generate reports on case volume, response times, recurring issues, and improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate and escalate cases to vendors or internal areas when necessary.

Required profile

• Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent technical training with proven experience).
• Experience supporting applications that operate on Oracle.
• Ability to perform basic queries, analyze errors, validate information, and track incidents.
• General knowledge of databases (no DBA experience required).
• Understanding of software support processes, including installation, driver management, updates, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Basic networking and connectivity troubleshooting knowledge.
• Proficiency with office tools and digital work environments.
