About the role

The Senior Operations Manager will lead the implementation of World Vision's operations model in Nicaragua, aligning with global strategy and local priorities to strengthen the organization as a preferred partner for child protection initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the World Vision delivery model using cost‑effectiveness analysis and in line with national and global guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with the organization’s sponsorship standards.
• Strategically lead and manage relationships with national, regional, and global partners, donors, and support offices.
• Foster organizational development, accountability, and continuous dialogue with stakeholders.
• Promote sustainability actions and demonstrate evidence of impact.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Humanities, or Social Sciences.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Significant senior‑level experience in operations, program/project management, or related fields.
• Proven ability to lead complex initiatives and manage multi‑stakeholder environments.
