Full Stack Laravel & React Developer (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

Bluelight Consulting is seeking a skilled Full Stack Laravel & React Developer to join its remote team serving clients across Latin America. You will design, build, and maintain high‑quality web applications, collaborating with a diverse group of engineers and delivering solutions that meet client goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Laravel back‑ends (Laravel 8+), including Eloquent ORM, authentication, and query builder.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate them with frontend frameworks using Inertia.js.
• Build responsive user interfaces with React (and optionally Vue.js or Livewire).
• Write automated tests using Pest PHP, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, and Playwright.
• Participate in code reviews, estimate tasks, and ensure delivery aligns with client expectations.
• Continuously improve code quality, performance, and security.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience with Laravel (version 8 or higher).
• Strong understanding of Eloquent ORM, Laravel authentication, and query builder.
• Hands‑on experience with testing tools such as Pest, PHPUnit, Dusk, and Playwright.
• Proficiency in building APIs and using Inertia.js.
• Frontend development experience with React; familiarity with Vue.js or Livewire is a plus.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to take ownership of deliverables.
