Ejecutivo de Ventas – Captación de Clientes de Carga

About the role

DHL is looking for a Sales Executive to drive the acquisition of new cargo customers for its air and sea freight services. You will work from the Managua office, focusing on consultative selling and delivering value‑added logistics solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new air and sea cargo customers, with a primary focus on air freight.
• Conduct consultative sales, promoting value‑added services and maintaining gross profit and volume growth.
• Actively manage business opportunities in the CRM, updating status weekly.
• Visit assigned existing and potential customers, recording visit details in the CRM.
• Review accepted offers before expiration and update terms as needed.
• Plan and execute sales campaigns aligned with the annual strategy (areas, countries, products, services).
• Prepare onboarding documentation for new clients, including credit requests, tariff entries, and operational instructions.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of commercial experience in forwarding or logistics sales.
• Experience with air and sea cargo customers is highly valued.
• Strong customer orientation, goal‑driven mindset, and ability to work towards targets.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Valid driver’s license, own vehicle, and willingness to travel occasionally.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Experience using CRM systems for opportunity management.
• Knowledge of logistics products: air freight, sea freight, customs, and warehousing.
