Clinical Coordinator (Spanish)

About the role

We are seeking a Clinical Coordinator fluent in English and Spanish to manage laboratory orders, referrals, and medication requests remotely. This full‑time remote position works 9 AM‑6 PM EST, Monday‑Friday, with training provided.

Key responsibilities

• Manage laboratory orders and reports.
• Review encounter notes and process post‑visit clinical orders.
• Handle DME, lab, imaging, referral, and medication‑related requests.
• Review DME prescription documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Obtain prior authorizations for medications, DME, and enteral orders.
• Complete DOH MAS 2015 forms and required supporting documentation.
• Monitor critical clinical alerts and promptly escalate abnormal findings.
• Follow up on outstanding orders, referrals, authorizations, PT actions, and clinical needs.
• Schedule follow‑up appointments and coordinate medication refill issues with providers.
• Track DME supply orders and resolve delays, missing items, or other issues.

Required profile

• Strong English and Spanish communication skills.
• Healthcare/clinical experience required.
• Experience with DME, referrals, laboratory orders, or prior authorizations preferred.
• Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems preferred.
