SketchUp Specialist – Custom Furniture & Cabinetry Design

About the role

We are seeking a skilled SketchUp Specialist to create and manage 3D models for custom cabinetry, furniture, and woodworking projects. The role focuses on using SketchUp Dynamic Components to develop parametric, production‑ready models that streamline design and manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models of custom cabinetry and furniture in SketchUp.
• Build, edit, and maintain Dynamic Components for configurable products.
• Develop parametric models that automatically adjust dimensions and configurations.
• Collaborate with designers and production teams to translate concepts into manufacturing‑ready models.
• Optimize SketchUp libraries, templates, and reusable components.
• Ensure model accuracy and suitability for CNC or other production workflows.
• Improve existing component workflows for greater efficiency and consistency.
• Troubleshoot and refine Dynamic Component behavior as needed.

Required profile

• Advanced proficiency with SketchUp and Dynamic Components.
• Hands‑on experience in cabinetry, custom furniture, millwork, or related woodworking manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of furniture construction methods, materials, and joinery.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and production requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good written and spoken English.
