Bilingual Front Desk & Prior Authorization Specialist (Office Ally)

About the role

We are looking for a bilingual Front Desk and Prior Authorization Specialist to support a high‑volume medical practice. The role combines patient‑facing front‑desk duties with the management of prior authorizations and eligibility checks, ensuring smooth patient flow and timely reimbursement.

Key responsibilities

• Submit, track, and manage 50+ prior authorization requests each week, following up on denials and securing approvals.
• Perform real‑time eligibility and benefits verification for 50+ patients daily before appointments.
• Handle front‑desk operations including appointment confirmations, patient check‑ins and check‑outs, and general reception tasks.
• Provide clear, compassionate communication in both English and Spanish for Spanish‑speaking patients.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as medical record requests and cross‑functional patient coordination.

Required profile

• Proven experience conducting high‑volume eligibility checks and prior authorization workflows.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with the Office Ally electronic medical record system.
